How does Unscripted work?
Unscripted shows you profiles of people in your area who match your preferences (age range, distance, relationship intentions). Unlike other dating apps, we don't use an algorithm to hide or prioritize profiles—you see everyone who matches your filters, in the order they joined.
How do I create an account?
Download the Unscripted app from the App Store, then follow the prompts to create your account with your email, set up your profile with photos and bio, and set your preferences. You must be 18 or older to use Unscripted.
How do I match with someone?
Browse profiles in the Discover tab. Swipe right (or tap the heart) to like someone. If they like you back, it's a match! You'll both be notified and can start messaging.
Can I change my profile or preferences?
Yes! Go to your Profile tab, tap the edit icon, and you can update your photos, bio, age range preferences, search radius, and other settings at any time.
Why am I not seeing any profiles?
This could be because there are no users in your area that match your current filters, or you've already seen everyone available. Try increasing your search radius or adjusting your age range preferences.
How do I unmatch with someone?
Open the conversation with the match you want to remove, tap the menu icon (three dots), and select "Unmatch". This will remove the match and conversation permanently.
How do I report inappropriate behavior?
If you encounter inappropriate content or behavior, you can report a user by viewing their profile or conversation, tapping the menu icon, and selecting "Report". Choose the reason for your report and submit. We investigate all reports promptly.
How do I block someone?
To block a user, view their profile or conversation, tap the menu icon, and select "Block". Blocked users cannot see your profile or contact you. Blocking is permanent and cannot be undone.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will permanently remove your profile, photos, messages, and all personal data. This action cannot be undone. Some data may be retained for legal or security purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Is Unscripted free?
Yes! Unscripted is completely free to download and use. All core features (browsing, matching, messaging) are available at no cost.
How does Unscripted protect my privacy?
We take privacy seriously. Your exact location is never shared—other users only see an approximate distance. We don't sell your data, and we use industry-standard encryption to protect your information. Read our full
